There are plenty of small rest stops where you can safely park on the side of the road, take a break and enjoy the scenery.
What is the Best Time of Year to Ride This Route?
The short answer to this question is that you should always prepare for the possibility of rainfall. Exploring this route anytime between March and October is when the weather and road conditions will be best. If you want to see the forests‘ colours in all of their autumn glory, a trip anytime from the end of September to the middle of November will be the best time to go.
The highest elevation point of this route is 294m above sea level, meaning it could get a little bit chilly early and late in the riding season.
